IGATech has been founded in 2009 by the Institute of Applied Genomics and it is now owned by the FoRGE Foundation.

Our company is using the most innovative techniques and advanced sequencing platforms to support researchers advancing their discoveries in plant and animal genomics, improve diagnostics and drug development, preserve ecosystems and support sustainable development.

A team of scientists with experience in molecular biology and bioinformatics is committed to follow and test the latest protocols and tools, as well as to develop new ones, assuring the implementation of the state-of-the-art procedures to create the most effective solutions for our partners and clients.
IGATech is committed to provide a quality-centric and sustainable services, maintaining ISO9001:2015 quality standards and ISO14001:2015 environmental management (ongoing assessment). IGATech is the largest NGS provider in Italy, serving hundreds of clients at European level and globally. Research institutes, industries, biopharma, biotech and seed companies rely on us for the success of their research, development pipeline and quality control.
With the in-house sample-to-data analysis workflow we can guarantee reliability and security to the results we will deliver while providing experienced consultancy at all stages of a project.
